The representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, met with His Excellency the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres today.
During the meeting, His Highness the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve them, and their affirmation of the State of Kuwait’s support for the efforts of the United Nations in achieving its goals in promoting international peace and security.
His Highness affirmed the State of Kuwait’s commitment to its established foreign policy and its principles of support for the efforts of the United Nations and the constant pursuit of a just and comprehensive peace in various regional and international issues.
His Highness the Prime Minister said that the State of Kuwait has been keen over the past decades to participate effectively and effectively in various organizations and agencies of the United Nations and to support their efforts in various fields, praising the prominent role played by the Secretary-General of the United Nations in enhancing international cooperation and developing the work of the organization.
During the meeting, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and the role of the United Nations in establishing the foundations of international peace and security and ways to achieve sustainable development were also discussed.
