In response to the invitation addressed to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, accompanied by His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, Sheikh Khaled Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah and His Excellency the Director of the Office of His Highness the Prime Minister Hamad Bader Al-Amer, attended the match between Portugal and Switzerland, which took place at Lusail Stadium as part of the FIFA World Cup matches held in the State of Qatar.

During halftime, His Highness the Prime Minister met with Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, during which they discussed ways to strengthen and develop the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and develop them in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

His Highness had arrived at Doha Airport earlier, where His Highness was greeted by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar, His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Qatar Khaled Bader Al-Mutairi and members of the embassy.
