His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, held at Bayan Palace today a session of official talks with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani.
During the talks, which were dominated by a friendly atmosphere, they discussed the close bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields to serve the interests of the two countries.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional and international developments and the positions of the two countries towards them, stressing the importance of continuing consultation and coordination on issues of common concern.
The talks were attended on the Kuwaiti side by His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Dr. Bader Hamid Al-Mulla, His Excellency the Chief of the Prime Minister’s Court Abdulaziz Dakhil Al-Dakhil, His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Minister State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs Mazen Saad Al-Nahedh and senior officials in the state and the Prime Minister’s Office.
On the Iraqi side, it was attended by the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq.
