Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, held today a ceremony honoring the winners of the Kuwait Award for Youth Excellence and Creativity (sixth edition).

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Dr. Imad Muhammad Al-Ateeqi, and a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, heads of diplomatic and consular missions in the country, and senior state officials.

His Highness the Prime Minister said in his speech during the ceremony, “We thank God very much for bestowing upon us the blessing of security and safety, the blessing of mercy and harmony, and the blessing that God has given and provided for this good, safe, and peaceful country with young people who believe in their God, believe in their homeland, and believe in its leadership.”

His Highness praised the belief of Kuwaiti youth in the importance of real participation in shaping and building (the Kuwait of the future) through intensive investment in creative human capital.

His Highness the Prime Minister added, “In the blessed last ten days of the holy month, we celebrate this group and vanguard of creative Kuwaitis who believe that true participation is not limited to a celebration in which prizes are distributed, but rather that they be partners in shaping and building (Kuwait of the Future).”

Hence, His Excellency the Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and the Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Daoud Suleiman Marafi, reviewed in his speech on this occasion the strategy of the General Youth Authority during the coming period and its future projects.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Prime Minister honored the winners of the Kuwait Youth Excellence and Creativity Award in its sixth edition.
