His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, made an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Mubarak Duty Force of the Kuwaiti Army in the north of the country.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
His Highness listened to a briefing on the duties of Mubarak’s force, which is based on the country’s northern borders, and the various tasks assigned to it. His Highness was briefed on the mechanisms used to protect and monitor the country’s borders.
In his speech during the visit, His Highness the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve him, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to all members of the Kuwaiti army.
His Highness said, “The fathers, grandfathers, and ancestors were true to what they pledged to God through the slogan of honor and pride (God, Country, Amir), which embodies the values of loyalty and fidelity to this good land and honorable people.”
Addressing members of the Kuwaiti Army, His Highness added, “This is a trust that you carry for the current generation and on behalf of future generations by representing you to defend the country, stressing the government’s readiness to provide everything necessary to enable the Kuwaiti Army to fulfill this trust to the fullest extent.”
