His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, visited today His Excellency the President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation, Counselor Dr. Adel Majid Bouresli, in the building of the Supreme Judicial Council.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Justice and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Faisal Saeed Al-Gharib.

In a press statement at the conclusion of the visit, His Highness the Prime Minister affirmed the government’s keenness to cooperate with the judiciary to serve the interests of the nation and protect the rights of individuals, based on the supreme directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve him, and in compliance with Article 50 of the Constitution.

His Highness expressed his great pride in the efficiency and professionalism of the judiciary and the efforts they make to ensure the protection of the rights of individuals, the preservation of the components and capabilities of the state, and the establishment of the balance of justice within the framework of the constitution and the law, stressing that the independence of the judiciary is an essential pillar for achieving complete justice.
