His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, today visited the new passenger terminal project ( T2 ) At Kuwait International Airport.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Isa Ahmed Al-Kandari, His Excellency the Minister of Public Works Dr. Amani Suleiman Bukmaz, His Excellency the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Jassim Muhammad Al-Ustad, senior officials in the state and the Prime Minister’s Court.
His Highness the Prime Minister was briefed on a visual presentation that included the most important information about the new project and its completion rates. His Highness was also briefed on the project’s facilities, the latest developments in the progress of its work and the timetable for its implementation.
His Highness the Prime Minister said in a press statement after his visit that the new passenger terminal project is one of the ambitious national projects to develop and modernize the country’s infrastructure to serve the vision of (New Kuwait 2035) and transform the country into a regional and global financial and commercial center that attracts investment.
His Highness expressed his deep pride and appreciation for the prominent and well-known role played by the national cadres and youth energies participating in the implementation of the project with full efficiency and ability, and the professional responsibility they have, in cooperation with the international executing company.
His Highness the Prime Minister affirmed the interest and keenness of the government to harness all capabilities and provide the various facilities necessary to complete the project and operate all airport services and facilities according to the scheduled schedule.
