His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, received at Bayan Palace today, His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs

Mai Jassim Al-Baghli, Women and Childhood Affairs, presented to His Highness the Director-General of the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Bibi Hamad Al-Amiri, and the Deputy Director-General of the Authority, Dr. Nahed Abdul-Razzaq Al-Ateeqi, on the occasion of their appointment to their new positions.

His Highness the Prime Minister stressed the importance of facilitating all transactions of citizens with disabilities and providing them with all means of comfort by establishing special offices to receive them in the state ministries to overcome any difficulties they face.

His Highness pointed out the need for the Ministry of Social Affairs to coordinate with the various government agencies, each according to its competence, to cooperate with the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities and to harness all capabilities to meet the requirements of brothers and sisters with disabilities.
