His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, received a phone call today from His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, during which he congratulated His Highness on the occasion of the issuance of the Amiri decree appointing him as Prime Minister and forming the new government.

His Highness expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic of Iraq for his good feelings, which confirm the depth of the close relations between the two countries and the two brotherly people, wishing the Republic of Iraq continued progress and prosperity.
